After succeeding through the Dorset Junior Programme by representing the county at junior level, Tom now sits as a vital cog of the Dorset Badminton machine. He has recently been promoted to our head junior coach where he has been able to engage further with our talented young junior players. In recent years, Tom has worked with multiple county champions, junior and senior circuit winners and even national champions from scratch.

His dedication to his players are second to none with him given up his time to support them courtside at tournaments.

Dorset Badminton helped fund Tom through his Level 3 coaching qualification – a justifiable and sound investment.

He captains the 2nd senior team which still gives him immense pride and pleasure as he is still passionate for competing and bringing success to Dorset.

Bringing home the South West titles in both U16 & U18 age groups in his first year as head coach can only be a tough record to keep.

Tom currently conducts most of his coaching at the David Lloyd Club in Poole which has ,in recent years, become one of Dorset’s most successful badminton clubs. Badminton is Tom’s full time occupation and is happy to engage in new challenges amongst fresh and familiar faces through the game.
