Dorset Badminton Association have been participating in an inter county league for more than 20 years.

Matches are arranged between all the South West counties on a league basis, each county being played once in the season either home or away.

The teams are selected by age, playing in teams of 4 men and 4 ladies representing the age groups at  Over 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70.

Trials are held in September where newcomers are welcome to attend.

In January each year teams are entered in a national team competition which is played over one weekend at various venues around the country.
